janroatan Posted January 18, 2022 #1 Share Posted January 18, 2022 Does NCL inform passengers which Covid testing forms/requirements are for each port we will disembark at?
Julienatul Posted January 18, 2022 #2 Share Posted January 18, 2022 NCL will take care of all forms/health visas. Cruise ship travel has different requirements than land based travel. All forms are handled by the cruiseline itself which certifies all passengers meet each port's entry requirement. On our latest cruises since COVID, we were told which ports required us to take our covid vaccine cards to access stores and restaurants. Some ports are stricter than others. BklynBorn47 Posted January 18, 2022 #3 Share Posted January 18, 2022 Do I understand that if we book a transatlantic to Rome in April that NCL will give us a covid test onboard allowing us to disembark in Italy? The website only mentions NCL providing a test on transatlantic cruises TO the USA. Logic indicates they would do the same going the other way, right? That may be true in some parts of the world but definitely not in Europe. We had to download/complete/upload/develop QR codes or print any number of forms and required documentation in Greece, Italy, Spain and France in November and December. In some instances, NCL didn't even know what the requirements were in some countries, let alone take care of them. And since many need to be done before you are on the ship, not likely they would be able to handle them if they could.
pandncruisers Posted January 18, 2022 #7 Share Posted January 18, 2022 If you are referring to the PR covid test that you need to fly into PR you have to do the test and upload the results before your flight or take a test within 48 hours of arrival. If you are referring to the covid test after the cruise you only need it if you are staying overnight and NCL will do that test on the ship before you leave but the cost is $99. If you are flying out the same day no test is needed.

Renews Posted January 18, 2022 #9 Share Posted January 18, 2022 It is my understanding that the Travel Safe form is to be completed by the passenger.
