Are there any differences between A1 and A2 cabins?

Except for location, are there any differences between the two categories?

None.  It is strictly location.

On M class, the A1's are on 11 and have minimal shade on the balcony.  A2 are on 9 and have a large overhang for lots of shade and rain protection.

On S class the majority of the A1's are located under the pools and bandstand. As a result, even though we are eligible for the complimentary one category upgrade. we always book A2's.

I feel the same way, but if one of the A1 cabins off the hump is available I’ll grab it. The balconies are very deep, which I like. I like the coverage, so even if it’s pouring rain I can enjoy sitting out on the balcony.

The A1’s on the S class  have larger balconies if you get a cabin that is on the slant.
