Here are my two recommendations for Cabo and PV.  Really these recommendations are not too far off the beaten path but probably attract less cruise passengers.

Cabo:

Los Claros - seafood and tacos with a somewhat mixed clientele - locals and tourists

El Peregrino - meat/steak restaurant that I like more for dinner. Not sure it's open in the morning

El Pollo de Oro - ribs and chicken, breakfast too, relatively "cheap eats" for all.

PV

Ocho Tostados - mainly seafood and has more locals

Boca Tomates - this really is more off the beaten cruise ship path and incorporates the beach. Only recommendation requiring a car/cab

Bareclona Tapas - tourist joint but fewer cruise passengers with a nice view and good food
