The Unmasked Port

Finishing off a 24 day b2b and today we were in St. Barts a port that blocked us just 2 weeks ago.  I expected the port to be one of the safest following protocols.  Boy was I wrong!  Hardly anyone wearing masks not locals not store help.  Maybe 5 in a 100 locals were masked. No hand sanitizer at store entrance either just business as usual.

I don't think they want Cruise Ships and ought to just ban them and be done with it.  Of the 8 ports we visited this cruise they were by far the very worst with masking and safety protocols but yet they deny the Ships.

Perhaps someone has some info on what seems to be the deal there.  Perhaps it's the Government because the maskless locals seemed to have no concern at all.

They don't need the money and most locals and regular visitors, mostly yacht owners, would prefer that cruise ships not be there at all.
