Good news for you, Miami was 80 degrees today (Saturday), the same expected Sunday and Monday, so you should not be cruising into cold weather tonight. Cococay Monday will hopefully be nice too, looks like mid-70s is the forecast.

Thank you!  We need warm weather !

Value cruise!!  The only extra I did was the internet and a haircut!  Needed to be cut!

Variety is the spice of life.  You gotta switch it up a bit somehow.  I’m sure you will find many great things regardless and still have a great time. Enjoy that bigger cabin.  The bunks will probably make a great and easily accessible storage spot.

I am looking forward to my no reservation eat on my schedule kind of week.  I am sure I will savor every bite!

@BennyBrun First, let me say that I have thoroughly enjoyed tagging along with you this week on your cruise. I (along with a hundred or more of your new closest friends) will be will you next week as well.

I have a question that I'd like to get your opinion on (any other cruisers can chime in as well). Here's my conundrum - my wife and I will be in a Grand Suite next year for our 50th anniversary with access to Coastal Kitchen for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the entire week. What factors should we consider to make our decision whether to buy UDP (or any of the smaller specialty dining packages)? Note: We're not big fans of sushi, so daily pre-dinner "appetizers" at Izumi wouldn't be in our plans. But, my wife does like lobster.  Thanks.

Thank you for coming along !!  Welcome aboard tomorrow!!  Happy early anniversary!  That is amazing!  They don’t really serve lobster in the specialty venue unless you count Chops ($21 additional charge for lobster) or the lobster thermidor at 150 Park which is delicious but you have to like tarragon and cognac to enjoy that.  I know it’s a big anniversary so if you want to try the specialty restaurant I would recommend the 3 night package and eat at Coastal Kitchen.  This is assuming you are doing the celebration on the Oasis class ship.  On the Quantum class I would probably just do a two nighter.  Enjoy your cruise !!!

Day 7 Giovanni’s Dessert

We did not feel like any tiramisu tonight so our server brought us the fried cheesecake from 150 Park instead!

Looks really good. Like to have a piece right now!

Day 7

So chatting with the supervisor that is charge of Park Cafe and Giovanni’s Table, we were told that they do feed the owl with meat and there are lizards that the owl feed on as well.  There is a Facebook group dedicated to the owl but I can not find it.

We will be sailing on the Allure. Sorry, I forgot to mention that. Thanks for the recommendation.

Regarding your pics tonight...I would not want to be one of the comedians trying to tell jokes in an almost empty auditorium. That's got to be a tough gig.

Morning from sunny london.
what a cruise “we’ve” had.
Me and my friends like to play in the casino in the evenings especially poker. Can you comment on the casino over the past 7 days? Empty? Any atmosphere? Any players round the poker table?

Can you also let me know what fee they charge for drawing down dollars on your cabin (5%)?

Lastly how many people boarding today? Is it 3,600?

 Thanks

 Steve

I was told that this was a casino certificate cruise so the casino was some what busy probably 30 to 40 percent full.  Three to five tables full at most.  The dealers usually just sit around looking bored.

They do charge 5% if you are not prime or above but they also have ATM.  So if you are drawing anything over $100.00 you might want to use the ATM.  If you just want to play $20.00 and leave then room charge will cost you just a buck!

We are expecting 3600 people today with 250 back to backers.

@BennyBrun Are you doing the second half of your B2B review here on this thread? I was confused because of the dates in your thread title... it looks like the review stops today? Please say it ain't so!

I have decided to start a new thread at approximately 9AM.  The new thread will start with B2B experience and it will be very different than this thread because again it will be a value cruise with no extras purchased except internet and a haircut !
