NCL Shore Excursion Promotional Credits

Shore Excursion Promotional Credits is one of the perks when we booked our cruise.  The website says "$50 Shore Excursion Credit per tour for first Guest on cruise reservation".    I have a couple questions for those that know how this works.  (1) If you happen to book two excursions in one port (rare I know), would you get two $50 credits?  (2) Do you get a $50 credit for every port?  (3) What if we miss a port?  Do we still get a $50 OBC?  What has your experience been with this perk?  Thank you! 😌

You might NOT get a full $50 for each port, especially if your excursion was not $50 per person!

(1) No. It's $50 per port. 

 

(2) Yes. It is a per-port credit. You can not accumulate credits for use on one port. It is use or lose 

 

(3) No. It is use or lose. 

 

Experience: It is a free perk and we use the credit if we book an NCL ShoreEx.

Answer to #1 is actually YES.  See line 7 in the posted rules above. Just 10 days ago I got more than one credit per port in St Thomas.

It used to be that way, now it's per excursion booked for that port.
