Beer Belly Posted February 1, 2022 Author #2 Share Posted February 1, 2022 Our group just made their final payment (Boss Lady and I used FCC), and other arrangements have been made around our April cruise, which we were on the fence about. wampuscat7 Posted February 1, 2022 #3 Share Posted February 1, 2022 I assume the sail-by date is still Dec 2022?

TeresaJ Posted February 2, 2022 #5 Share Posted February 2, 2022 I received the email too even though we got a refund on our FCC. I still have a 10% off coupon though...whoopee. I wonder if they will eventually extend it into 2023. So many people have credits to use.
NEW 2 CRUISIN Posted February 2, 2022 #6 Share Posted February 2, 2022 While this announcement have been too late for a lot of us who made last minute cruise arrangements before the deadline, one thing is for sure….this guarantees that NCLs prices will be higher than ever for at least another full year. It almost doesn’t make sense to book another cruise with them without FCCs, which lost a LOT of value this past year. ☹️
wampuscat7 Posted February 2, 2022 #7 Share Posted February 2, 2022 I ended up getting the same email last night, even though all of our FCC has been used to pay for a cruise in March.
BulldustHHH Posted February 3, 2022 #8 Share Posted February 3, 2022 I ended up requesting a refund on the last day... in the process now. I am disappointed at how they played chicken with customers two years ago, so that I felt forced into settling for 1 to 1 FCC for real money. Then they inflated cruise prices drastically (understandable, but a kick in the proverbials for us). Then they told us the credit was expiring 31/01/2022. Given our location there is no way we could travel before now, and even now it is iffy... might not be allowed back into our state. Sure that isn't NCL's fault, but extending the FCC to the end of the year was the least they could do, especially for Aussies.

If you truly do not have any FCC, Cruise Next, etc., just consider the email another "marketing tool" that they sent out in-mass.
