Scuba in Cabo San Lucas

Carnival Panorama in Feb 2023. In port from 6:30 am until 3 pm. Any suggestions for a dive/scuba operator?

Watch out for the sea lions...they are aggressive ...we saw some jump onto the back of some fishing boats coming back into the Cabo harbor...I guess they were hungry !

That's a normal event and the fishing mates encourage it for their fisherman.  They feed them the left over bait.

I've done the excursion that Carnival offers this March and enjoyed it.  They use a larger boat which I sometimes like because I get seasick.  Viz was poor that day so they didn't take the beginner divers out.  There were I think...six to eight certified divers and they took us in groups of four.  I brought my own regulator on the dive and they mouthwashed it for me which was kind of weird but I had no other problems with equipment.  

 

I've also done a self excursion with a private guide with Manta https://www.mantacabo.com/  and they were on a smaller boat if you like that sort of thing.  It's a short walk to their shop from the boat but nothing too strenuous.  They were easy to communicate with via email.
