A few photos of the Yacht Club Restaurant and Top Sail Lounge from our table just after finishing breakfast at 8 am, as the rest of the YC must be sleeping in ?

With all the 'adult only' areas, we envision that the rest of the ship is run amok ("Lord of the Flies "?)

Early morning stretch is about to begin in front of the large screen. The instructor was joined by three passengers this morning. With so few guests this cruise, even the chair hogs find no reason to get up early.

Seashore boasts 4 water slides, all open and running with not one guest. Suppose it is still too early to get out of bed.

Found another smoking area. Starboard side again. Guests will have to use their time exploring the ship for all the venues, because many of the staff are so new they have not had the time to orientate themselves to their new surroundings. I suspect that so many of us are so happy to be cruising again that we overlook the few 'short comings'. But as passenger counts become more normal the 'mole hills' will add up to a big mountain of trouble for all cruise lines as they try to get back many 'lost' experienced staff members, service will diminish. Glad we are hanging out in the Yacht Clubs.

What is extremely nice about this cabin is that although the living room view is forward the balcony is on the side with a large over hang. Should the Caribbean sun come pouring on one, MSC provides any cabana found on the pool deck as complimentary, just advise the butler in the early morning to reserve it for you.

Now this is a 'sign' of a good waiter; at dinner this evening our waiter informed us that tomorrow we dock at Ocean Cay and he is needed early to set up and provision Ocean House for the YC guests. He will be unavailable for breakfast but he has instructed his relief waiter on our preferences ( my plate of donuts). What a guy !

We have been informed that all the Venchi gelato (ice cream) is made on the ship in the Yacht Club. While outside the YC it can be either (outsourced). I have had on occasion (every lunch and dinner) two different gelato sundaes after each meal. The steamed vegetables that DW has each evening have always been soft, just as requested. There has never been any wait between courses. The waiters are not given many tables to wait in the YC allowing for excellent service.

Here is another important Yacht Club advantage found out this cruise. That everything important one wants is located in the forward section of the ship; cabins, lounge,  restaurant, Madison theatre. Live music for dinner starts at 6:15 pm in the TSL for 45 minute set. Noticed a five minute break, then more live music, then time for a show.

This comes in an envelope in ones suite cabin on first day on board, newspaper list to choose. Placed every morning outside ones cabin door.

Our serenaded arrival at Ocean Cay. Interesting 'off the cuff' comment by a long time butler about the upcoming 6000+ passenger  cruise in 6 weeks time, that the passenger count will probably drop off, but it makes no difference for the Yacht club guests. (we can depend on the highest level of service no matter ).

Tram ride to Ocean House is a must, too long to walk. Here is a guard positioned  on the end of the bridge, the only entrance to the secluded Yacht Club members only Ocean House, keeping the other 5700 guests at bay.

To the right of Ocean House is the YC Beach with 6 cabanas. To the left of Ocean House is no beach, but 7 nicely separated cabanas (#7 is closest to Ocean House). Coconut tree view from cabana #7.

Now this photo was a welcome addition to Ocean House.  Just a few feet away is a brand new kitchen. No more lunch trunk preparation. ( I was looking for the men's room). Bumped into the executive chef and complimented him on YC cuisine. Had lunch on the terrace of Ocean House, two desserts there, went back to ship for 2 more sundaes at the full lunch buffet on the ship and DW had her soft chocolate chip cookies at the Top Sail Lounge.

Every YC guest is greeted with their own same group of friendly staff. One can not walk around Ocean House or sit without a staff member within 10 feet waiting for a request to fill.

Inside Ocean House. Air-conditioned . I believe I remember bar stools up against the bar in 2019. we will know that everything is back to normal when bar sitting returns.
