Got up this morning and played Holiday Road,

Thanks...now I've got it stuck in my head.

Complete with the dog barking at the end 😂

I hope you didn't win the cruise as a contestant on "Pig In A Poke"

Have a great time.

Okay, all logged in sitting in my cabin with some tips I learned today. First, Mapquest did a great job, typed in the Port of Miami and that was it. Saw the sign on left for MSC check-in, with cars pulling up unloading baggage, immediately said to DW where are the white tents? They were 500 ft further down on this one-way thoroughfare.  Backed out and proceeded to white tent. Porter immediately greeted us and we tipped him $40 to make sure all 11 suitcases were 'properly' handled. My question to the YC tent persons was were do you advise we park? He said Parking Garage G (Seashore is docked at F) about 1000 ft down this one-way street. I further asked the YC attendants what happens should the Seashore return at the end of cruise to Terminal C (1 1/4 miles away from Garage G). He stated we will be definitely be  coming back to Terminal F and the walk will be even shorter. Walk back to tents from parking garage G was 20 minutes.

From white tents we were escorted into terminal F and shown to the YC line to the far left for our nasal swabs (it tickled). Assigned to a grouping of chairs to wait for results. Hesitated to sit close to anyone for fear of being contact traced and 'scratched at the gate". It seamed like just 5 minutes and we were cleared to sign in. Escorted to sign in, no wait (we got to port at 10:15 am) escorted upstairs (escalator broken). We were met by our butler, Predeep, who escorted us to the Top Sail Lounge to wait for the YC restaurant to open at 12. There was a lovely offering of treats encased in glass, no self serve. Picked out a chocolate lollipop, delivered to my seat.

You backed out in that area to get to the white tents?  My goodness, when I arrived to board Meraviglia, that would have been an impossibility.  Traffic would have prevented it and the police officer directing traffic would have had a fit!  If not providing me with a ticket.

Guess we got there early. No traffic police. Lot was big enough to turn around in. Others with cars all had to back out and go to parking garage as well. Not very busy early on. Went to tents and pulled right up, left car running as we unloaded. Pulled forward into this lot as well and made a grand circle before exiting. Asked Predeep how many passengers this trip. He said he heard around 1200, 240 in YC.  At show tonight CD said this ship can accommodate 6500 guests and with just over 1000 this sailing it was like a yacht for us, that we should take advantage and use up 6 deck chairs each this cruise. He continued that if numbers remain like this he will be looking for an Uber job in the future.

Do not see how any of the butlers can do any unpacking touted by these cruise lines. Predeep had to run back all afternoon to escort other YC passengers on board. Luggage arrives after lunch. Muster drill, step #1 is a video on the TV . What one is not told is that after viewing video, one must dial 881 on the cabin phone to be 'activated', which is step  #2. The official announcement of the step # 2 comes at 4 pm over the public address system, to dial 881. Then step # 3, everyone is 'required' to leave their cabin and make their way to their muster station displayed on both their key card or back of cabin door. Now the 'rub'. Everyone is requested not to take the elevators to get to their muster station. We were fortunate to run into Predeep in the hallway at 3:30 and asked him how to get to our muster station. He said did we know to dial 881 ?  It was not in the video. We said no. He entered our cabin and dialed 881 for us. Then he directed us to the theatre on deck 7 (from our deck 19). We took the elevator down. We waited around til 4:00 for a muster station attendee to arrive in a pink ball cap with his register device to scan our key cards. As we left the theatre the announcement on the PA advising passengers to view the video and dial 881. One could then take the elevators after the muster check in, if one could find one available.

Love the elevators. Four on one port side and four on starboard side, A,B,C.D. One approaches the key pad lights up all decks. Choose a deck and a letter pops up and lights up the elevator on its way to pick one up. Walk in elevator and no further buttons to push. door closes and goes to deck. So far had empty elevators and all express. Really great !

Had lunch in the YC restaurant. The cobb salad was better than i remembered ( maybe we are just so appreciative, but everything is so much better right now). Spoke to the maitre d' about having the same table for all three meals in the YC restaurant. His only concern was how early would we be. We told him we would be first for every meal. "Then no problem, what table would you prefer". When we selected a table for two in a corner a waiter approached me and called out my name. He had been our waiter 2 years ago and remembered (our tip?). He requested of the maitre d' to switch his section to be our waiter this trip again, we could not refuse.

Really love the live music in the TopSail Lounge during dinner in the YC restaurant above that began at 6 pm. Mentioned to Predeep that we eat early every meal in the YC restaurant so could we have our cabin attended to during our breakfast because I will be hanging out all day long in our cabin on the balcony. We reiterated our request to our cabin attendant as well and she said it would not be a problem since we get up early for breakfast in the restaurant. Everyone is so accommodating. Also, I requested of Predeep that since our cabin is situated on the starboard side of the ship, could we have a cabana on the port side of the ship ? (Though our balcony has a nice overhang for shade, if the sun bakes down on the starboard side, I can always retreat to our cabana on the port side for shade). This is what DW says I have, The Life Of Riley. I tell her she must continue to work to keep me in a manner to which I have become accustom. (A kept man)

Seating 30 seconds before show time at 8 pm in theatre. Socially distanced seating. However I am sorry to report that what others have posted on social media is true again on this cruise. Passengers sit in seats marked "DO NOT SIT", they are also the same people that do not wear their face masks and are the same people that talk during the entire performance. Nice show called "Gravity". Reservations are required as seating is reduced capacity (supposedly), except for YC guests which have this reserved section for every performance.

I was on this same cruise. If you watched the video at the "beginning of muster drill" time, the extension to dial was displayed at the end. If you watched it beforehand, it was not. Dial extension (it changes every week), go to station, get checked in. Easy peasy! Took all of 5 minutes. I love, love their elevator system.

Outside every cabin are these 4 color lights. Orange is make up cabin, blue is do not disturb, red is key card in light switch signifying guest is in, green is no key card in light switch so guest must be out of cabin or empty. Many green lights.

Deck 8 in the rear of the ship directly across from the "adult only pool" is the Infinity pool bar on starboard side and the Venchi gelato station on the port side open during breakfast. There are these new 'iced' donuts that are being offered as a breakfast pastry. I could not eat just one. When we returned to this gelato station the left side was filled with chocolate covered gelatos on a stick.
