Has seating in all venues changed? RE: Cruise Companion

Hi.   There was an option at add people as Cruise Companions via email.   So I put my wife’s email and she received the info below.

Do entertainment venues like the Punchliner and the large show theaters require reservations post 2020?

If you (and your party) would like to be seated with James (and their party) during onboard dining and entertainment events, you must click accept invitation below to confirm that James is your cruise companion. Cruise companions are family and members of your immediate travel group. Groups are limited to six people in all public spaces and entertainment venues.

There are no reservations required for entertainment.  I think that (if they were concerned), they would ensure that there was at least 6 feet between groups that had not registered as "cruise companions."  Notice that I said "if."  We've been on 2 cruises since restart and they really don't seem to care about distancing.  In fact, the newest protocols specifically state that fully vaxxed do not need to socially distance.

I wonder if that pertains to the wearing of masks around members of your travel group compared to the need to mask among others in close quarters?

It means a whole lot of nothing. 2 cruises since restart.

That's just for the dining room, you can sit with whomever you wish and wherever you wish at all shows in the theatre, comedy club, etc.  Obviously another case of a poor choice of wording by Carnival.
