Question about bar area of Prime 7 and Chartreuse on Explorer and Splendor.

To answer OP's orginal question, yes, there are functioning bar seating areas at Prime 7 and Chartreuse. Bars are stocked. Lovely little areas. Prime 7 bar/Maître d' station on Explorer has Picaso art on the walls. Just came off the Jan. sailing on Explorer Miami to San Diego. No one was in these areas because everyone I saw was seated right away. Word going around that sailing was that it went out just over 50% occupancy. That was right at the height of the Omicron wave. We went anyway and had an amazing voyage. Intersting though that Pacific Rim doesn't have a bar area. In my opinion that was the best restaurant when it came to interior design. Can't figure out why, but the back of the ship on the deck with Pacific Rim and spa has a slope, giving major headroom and airiness to the room that Prime 7 and Chartreuse do not.

It’s possible they needed a higher ceiling height for equipment in the aft gym, lowered the floor with a ramp starting at the restaurant. That vertical height is then lost in what I’m guessing is the compass rose galley below.

Had dinner in Prime7 last evening. Arrived early; had a drink in the bar and asked bartender - Bar (now) only opens when restaurant opens.Tables seem to be immediately available (at 7); 505 passengers this cruise.

Thank you for this itel.
