Rare LewiLewi Posted February 22, 2022 #1 Share Posted February 22, 2022 We are planning to cruise on the Nieuw Statendam in the next few months and would like to know what the most recent HAL policies are in regard to Covid. Are PCR/antigen tests required 2 to 3 days prior to boarding in Ft. Lauderdale? Are they still testing at the pier prior to boarding? Are they testing on the ship prior to visiting Caribbean ports? Are they testing on disembarkation back in Ft. Lauderdale? Are masks still required on board? Thank you.
CruiserBruce Posted February 22, 2022 #2 Share Posted February 22, 2022 Have you looked around the board? There are many discussions here, not sure we need another recap. The policies apply to all cruises, with some particular required additions for Hawaii and Panama. There are some changes going on right now, so no way to say what the policies will be in "a few months". Just looking a couple threads down to this one will give you a link to the HAL policies and the immediate changes:
