Walked the lanai of 5 to get to the fwd elevators. They’re doing some balcony cleaning and all the water is dripping down. There’s a couple here taking a nap and this water dripping noise can’t possibly be relaxing lol.

The water in the cove is a bit sketch but you can see the water at the beach around the cove from the ship and it’s your typical gorgeous DR turquoise water.

Love those pool cabanas! We get them every time we are there, and we have one next month when we're there on the Mardi Gras! How did you get the pedicab guy to take you all the way inside? We always were dropped off at the end of the pier.

So when I walked up I said “can you take me to the cabanas?” and he said sure, there was a wood door he had opened and he brought me as far as the fish spa. They called it “VIP Service” lol. I tipped him a $20. I will have to walk to pier for a ride back though. 
 

I had booked the cabana when it was the 3 of us coming. I’m loving it for me, but my son would’ve wanted to be all over the place!

Walked over to the restrooms. Here’s my hammock and what’s supposed to be 5 pool chairs. There were 5… 2 have disappeared. I clearly don’t need them so it’s fine. Also, when I returned from the restroom, a couple is enjoying the hammock. 😂

 

Just past the cabanas is a section of nice padded loungers with umbrellas. I don’t believe these are reserved through Carnival, so you likely have to get here quick to reserve.

Jefferson came and introduced himself. He’s my server for the day. Very sweet young man. He asked me about the couple on the hammock and wanted to kick them out. I said hey let ‘em have it. I’ll want to use it in a bit - if they’re still on it, I’ll say ok time’s up!

Didn't know you could do that. I'll have to try that next month! There's plenty for the little ones to do there.

You should start collecting a $20-spot from all the interlopers, recoup some money and start your own group party and set it off in there. 🥳

Ugh all cruise I’ve struggled to eat / drink. It’s really bothering me. 😂

 

I took about 5 bites of that shading fried pork belly and already feel like I’m going to pop. 
 

Listen, normally, I CAN PACK IN SOME FOOD! 
 

I started some new medication about a month ago - I’m wondering if that’s affecting my appetite.
