KruznKimmie Posted March 5, 2022 #1 Share Posted March 5, 2022 We plan on booking 4 cabins while onboard our next cruise & one of the cabins will have Grandma & Grandson and only the 4 year old is diamond. Can I book 2 cabins & receive the diamond balcony discount on both cabins if only the grandson is Diamond & not Grandma? Also, how is the best way to manage receiving the additional shipboard credit received for the booking while onboard for the cabin? Should we just add an adult with diamond status to each cabin to get the credits & then re-arrange the cabins once we board as there will be 4 adults with Diamond status? firefly333 Posted March 5, 2022 #2 Share Posted March 5, 2022 I'd plan on rearranging and book a diamond in each cabin. That being said most of the current sales with 550 off are not combinable with the balcony discount unless it's a group booking. My ta can do group bookings but if you book thru rcl it wouldnt be what you are offered onboard. You might save a tiny bit or nothing depending on the sale going on.
cruiseguy1016 Posted March 5, 2022 #3 Share Posted March 5, 2022 The balcony discount is for the cabin, not the person(s) booking it. As long as one of the occupants is Diamond, the cabin will be discounted.
