Hi We have cruised before but are going on our first Silversea cruise on the Silver Spirit in June. Just wondered when and what the evening entertainment was?

Also any other tips for making the trip great.

Thank you. We are so excited to be cruising again😀

There may also  be a solo pianist, or a classical guitar player, etc.  But the most common is 3 guys and 3 gals singing (often Broadway style) and maybe a little dancing.  If overnighting in a port, no formal show, just a duo or trio in lounges.

With Covid, times may vary. I think our 45-minute evening show on SS Moon recently started at 9:45.

It does vary, according to but not bound by,  sea day,  in port, time excursions return, dinner.  Usually the show is after dinner in the Venetian Lounge.  Sometimes on a sea day there might be an  "early" show before dinner.  The singers usually help out around the ship,  and go the tour buses  on SS excursions as a helper. They sometimes do  a show by the pool at lunchtime.

On the Whisper evening shows are currently either at 9:45 or at 6:45 for an early, pre dinner show. The Voices are mostly doing solo or duo shows and we have had a number of other guest entertainers on. If there is a younger crowd onboard the evening show will usually be at 10.

Is there a pianist or singer in the bar during the cocktail hour?

Yes, Usually there is a pianist in Dolce Vita.

Each day's Chronicle should list which musicians are playing where, and at what time. Also, since you will be on the Spirit, you might be interested in music at Silver Note. You can dine there, or just sit by the bar and listen. Reservations are recommended, as it is a small venue.
