More than occasionally folks on this Forum ask about Red Hook-QM2’s New York City destination( usually). Well there is an interesting, dare I say charming, piece about Red Hook in the March 6th issue of the New York Times-Metropolitan Section. Do check it out.😉

Red Hook is an up and coming area once industrial and someplace not to walk after dark.

 

Red Hook plus the interesting Smith Street as well as Court Street stretch is very interesting with boutiques, cafe and etc.. Of course Brooklyn Heights view of Lower Manhattan are stars of many movies. And the well known Atlantic Avenue as great places locals enjoy.
