luv2ndhalf Posted March 14, 2022 #1 Share Posted March 14, 2022 Do any of the cabins on Regent Seven Seas have dining room tables in them? Thank you!
GOARMY Posted March 14, 2022 #2 Share Posted March 14, 2022 (edited) Yes. Caveat: Table is defined as a separate piece of furniture offering comfortable seating for a minimum of four persons. And, four chairs would be set-up around it. Also, not necessarily set up in a separate "dining room". Upper-tier, "named Suites" would come so-equipped. Useful, if occupants are a family; and/or plan on in-suite dining on a regular basis rather than visiting the many-other dining venues/options. One would be looking for a Suite starting at about the 500 square foot level. (Not counting a balcony/veranda.) Have visited these, on occasion, as guests of folks we have met. Other CCers who have occupied such during a cruise can offer more specifics. For the hoi polloi guests in the vast majority of remaining Suites--most have sufficient floor space so that when the Room Steward and/or Butler arrives via room service to set breakfast, lunch, or dinner--a circular fold-out tabletop will be utilized. O.K. for a couple; not recommended for two couples. GOARMY! Edited March 14, 2022 by GOARMY Add text.
daetchief Posted March 14, 2022 #3 Share Posted March 14, 2022 But from my experience if you want to have a comfortable dinner for a party of four, you probably want to be up at seven seas suite or higher. That’s not to say a penthouse suite could not be utilized for the dining of four people for dinner, but you probably will be using the balcony. ChatKat in Ca. Posted March 14, 2022 #5 Share Posted March 14, 2022 We had an upgrade offer way back and had a Seven Seas Aft Suite on the Mariner. It was a corner lower suite and there was a dining table in that suite. We used it for a cocktail party we had in the cabin but we never dined in the suite for dinner or with guests. I am sure it sat 6.
tripperva Posted March 14, 2022 #6 Share Posted March 14, 2022 Explorer Suite and Splendor suites have a good sized dining table. Penthouse suites on those two ships have a small dining table for 2. The upper suites all have dining tables.
