Rapid antigen testing on board for next port call

Recommended Posts

We will get cruising in May

I know we must provide a negative test to board. I believe that this same test can be used for our port call to Bermuda along with a TA to the Bermuda Government (Day 3 and 4 )

We then have a port call to Nassau... I believe the orginal test would be on longer valued.  Does the ship provide test for passengers so that we can provide paperwork to enter that port.

We will also need to obtain a test after disembarkment for entry to Canada... will this be available at the port in Baltimore.

Help is greatly appreciated

If you need a test for a port that is a couple of days into a cruise the ship will handle it.  But not likely you will need one.  Ship may do bubble tours where you can only get off if on a ship-sponsored tour.  We had a few of these in eastern Caribbean ports in November.  And I haven't seen any cases lately where you need to apply for entry separately.  Again the ship takes care of this.

We've been on 7 cruises with three lines since August and the only testing we needed onboard was for back to back cruises.

Royal isn't doing tests onboard for flights after the cruise but they sometimes have testing available in a tent at the cruise port.

There is some discussion of getting back into Canada on the East Coast Departure board:

As more ports are opening, this is indeed an issue.  We have a similar issue with our Quantum sailing to Alaska.  We are required to have a test to enter Canada in Victoria, but we do not go to that port until day 7.  Our test needed for boarding in Seattle will be too soon for our port stop in Victoria.  This means the entire ship is going to need to be tested.  The cruise line has posted that they will update at least 30 days prior to sailing.
