Door between connecting rooms

Weird question about the door between connecting rooms.  We will have connecting rooms with other family members.  So if we want to keep the door wide open at times, is there a way to do so?  I seem to remember the door slamming closed.

Either prop some furniture against them or borrow some door stops from the cabin steward.

...or roll up a towel and lay it on the floor in front of the door.

We were just on the Indy this weekend and the door had a metal piece and there was a magnet on the wall to keep it open and in one place.
