Haven’t Cruised for a While- Prices on drink packages, restaurants etc

Hi there, 

 

havent cruised for a while, what are the prices these days for the drink package, specialty restaurants etc - considering hopping on an Alaskan out of Vancouver on Radiance 🙂

The drink package price is determined by the ship and time of year you're cruising.  This is because of Royal's Dynamic Pricing policy.  When you factor in the 18% gratuity, 60-80 per day is the general range.  Unlimited dining package after gratuity can easily be 180-200 pp. Once again depends upon your ship and time of year.  The newer ships at popular times are usually more expensive.

Thanks so much for the reply, I’m thinking that this cruise may be on the low side, given it’s the first Alaskan, older ship?

Since it's an older ship, the UDP would be too repetitive.  The 3 day or Chops plus would be better options.  If your cruise is next year, pricing around Black Friday is usually the best.
