The WiFi is fine(and free) that just connects you to the ship systems.

You can use medallion app(when it works) and ocean concierge fine.

 

 

It's the outgoing connection to the rest of the internet that you pay for where the problem is.

Wifi was terrible on our Panama Canal cruise in Feb/March on the Ruby. Would not stay connected, continually had to log in.

How do Platinum level members order the WiFi package(Not doing Princess Plus this time with the wi fi included)? I understand it is 9.99 with half of the price being refunded as an OBC.

Doesn't matter what your level is - order through the MC App.  If you qualify, you will receive 50% discount at point of purchase.

Husband checked his cell-problems with MC app as in our last cruise. No option appears for purchase of internet.

The Wi-Fi on Sky Princess was appalling on the cruise that we left on Saturday. We found that we were waiting until we went ashore and found a cafe to get a coffee and use their Wi-Fi in order to get get decent access.
