Cab or uber to a hotel, Hyatt Place or Embassy Suites on 17th St. and ask them to hold your luggage, $5 tip works for us. Then go somewhere for lunch. Pick up your luggage later and head to the port. We did this after our cruise on the Allure in December at E.S. They have a big room where they store luggage. Duffy's sports bar is 1/2 block away, and they have good food and all day 2 for 1 drinks. Panera Bakery is across the street and 1 bock east also.

Head to Miami, why hang around at Fort Lauderdale?

Shop around and lunch at Bayfront Park/Bayside Marketplace near POM. Perhaps take a boat trip (I won't use the word cruise) along Millionairs Row from Bayfront to kill some extra time.

Or take a stroll over Ocean Drive, use a service like Luggage Lounge (https://www.luggageloungemiami.com/ ) and cab or Uber to POM.

But as said above, most of your time is already gone getting to POM. I would not plan anything besides a transfer and an early arrival at the port.
