When you leave the ship turn left and keep walking towards the park it curves slightly but follow the path to the fountain and turn right and you are on the trail… go back on this thread and look at the pictures like a marker.  Remember to use the bathroom before you start the trail … there are no bathrooms on the trail.  If you walk the full trail the view gets even better as you make your way to the fort!

I like them both!  Great venue and the regulars are always there in there usual “assigned” seats.. kind of like Cheers!

6PM not very crowded at all… here are some tips… dress warm… sit at the center first row for the best view!  Also do not answer your phone and have a conversation on speaker phone during the show … it was so rude!

There were multiple falls during the Ice Show on our Allure cruise last month also.  Each fall happened in the exact same place on the ice as the skater before them..

We took a tour years ago in St. Maarten and now I'm wondering if I've been there before, even if for a bit. I believe we've been to two beaches in the 3x we've gone there, and we also did the iguanas. The water was so much fun at Maho when we went, the whole airplane thing was strange to me but I had a good time. Still not sure what to do this time, but thanks for the insight. An emptier ship also may be an option on this day....

There is usually an open market right near the water that offers some nice souvenirs.     I bought wood carved place mats there 5 or 6 years ago and bring them out every summer to enjoy.   

I, too, highly recommend checking out this area.    

 

Thank you for the link. It had me at 'quaint', and I love me some waterfront dining! My other half also loves to shop, so that part may be a draw for her.

We are booked on Mardi Gras for August 2023! I am so excited.

We actually were booked for this August but decided to rebook for next year, and book Adventure instead. Since we just flew to cruise last month we didn't want to fly again so soon, plus even on an older ship 9 days of vacation is just yummier lol.

You will like the Mardi Gras … it’s so different and the self service food options are amazing!  You should have tried the Celebration… sister to Mardi Gras coming out in November!  I can’t wait for my holiday Celebration cruise!

Day 6 Love and Marriage 

 

Tanya took the time to do this show correctly.  It was funny she interacted with the audience and the couples it was great. BUT… Denis’ Love and Marriage show was still the best!  Mike’s on the Oasis is my least favorite… he rushed the whole thing and kept plugging the other entertainment for the evening… meh 🫤
