dansize Posted May 11, 2022 #1 Share Posted May 11, 2022 So I have a letter from Carnival that issues us an amount of future cruise credit. Is there a way within the Carnival online systems to verify that the amount is "on our account" or even what the actual dollar amount may be? Or do we have to take it on faith that once we book another cruise, we just pass this letter to the PVP or travel agent and a certain amount will then be applied to the new booking? Joe817 Posted May 11, 2022 #2 Share Posted May 11, 2022 I would keep that in a VERY safe place. Keep the original, scan it in, and email your PVP/TA with that scan attached, and ask them to verify.
Schoifmom Posted May 11, 2022 #3 Share Posted May 11, 2022 You cannot check FCC amounts online. You would have to call Carnival to validate that the amount is available to you. When you book your next cruise, you will have to request that the amount be applied. It will not happen automatically. It's not like you have a "customer account" with a credit (silly, I know). mondello Posted May 11, 2022 #4 Share Posted May 11, 2022 We were cancelled off Horizon 12/26 and moved to Sunshine, due to emergency repairs. Given OBC ($450 for our 2 cabins) and FCC (25% of base fare). Bottom of our letter had a link to click on when ready to use the FCC. I almost forgot about the FCC until a post here triggered my memory and I submitted to apply on our 3/26 Vista cruise already booked. FCC was approved and applied within a week.
