gsalbato Posted May 14, 2022 #1 Share Posted May 14, 2022 If we link our reservation with our friend's reservation does everyone in their cabin have to be checked in before we can make specialty dining reservations with the UDP? We just found out the dad has a 10:30 check in like us, but his wife and daughter have an 11:30 time slot.
smokeybandit Posted May 14, 2022 #2 Share Posted May 14, 2022 I wouldn't think so. But with check-ins that early, both groups may still actually board the ship at the same time. An aside though, if one person on a reservation has an earlier time than the others, I'd still go at the earlier time or all in the room
bgoff60 Posted May 14, 2022 #3 Share Posted May 14, 2022 I believe that once you complete the 'set sail pass', you can start mass reserving with others. We have linked with others in the past and have had no issues
gsalbato Posted May 14, 2022 Author #4 Share Posted May 14, 2022 Ok, thanks for the help. I think his wife and daughter are going to try and check in when he does. Hopefully no one cares. Side question: I know you can go to any speciality restaurant to make all your reservations for the cruise, but only one restaurant will be open and it doesn't open until noon. Will there be a crew member in front of the restaurants to make reservations even if the restaurant isn't open yet?

Yes, someone should be there to make bookings.
