Traderboy Posted May 20, 2022 #1 Share Posted May 20, 2022 I read that many cruises in the last year have only allowed ship tours in ports. Has Princess now returned to the normal situation of allowing people to do whatever they like ashore ?

December 2021 and April 2022 and they did their own tours ( like walking around) both times,so maybe this is a port decision? Depending on what country one is in? memoak Posted May 20, 2022 #3 Share Posted May 20, 2022 It would be a decision if the port not Princess. However for those who receive exemptions from vaccination they may not be allowed off at all and if they are it would be on a ships tour
Rare cruzin4us Posted May 20, 2022 #4 Share Posted May 20, 2022 We did our "own" thing on the past 2 cruises. Oct '21 on Majestic, Mexican Rivera and April '22 on HAL's Zuiderdam, Sea of Cortez
riffatsea Posted May 20, 2022 #5 Share Posted May 20, 2022 We are not in a post covid world yet so not sure where you live to say that? Each country makes their own rules about individual tours It is not a Princess decision We have done our own thing in Mexico and have planned to do that in Europe and Canada Check the rules for the countries you will be visiting Some require proof of vaccination and some require negative covid tests
