CChamp Posted May 21, 2022 #1 Share Posted May 21, 2022 Hi all, it has never happened and hopefully never will but I was wondering what the procedure is if you lose your Sail & Sign card while on the ship? Also, what about losing it while out at a port? Thanks
Lee Cruiser Posted May 21, 2022 #2 Share Posted May 21, 2022 If you lose it on the ship, you can simply go to guest services and they will get you a new one. My wife had to do this once. Can't answer about losing it in port.
tdggal1980 Posted May 22, 2022 #3 Share Posted May 22, 2022 This (in a fashion) happened to me in Antigua. I was standing on the ramp to get back on the ship when I huge wind came through and blew my S&S card right into the water. Luckily I was right there so they just escorted me to guest services to get a new one. I joke that a part of me stays in Antigua 😂

phoneman69 Posted May 22, 2022 #5 Share Posted May 22, 2022 Once before covid lost a card in port. Carnival rep had a passenger list for the sailing and checked that my name and room was listed before allowing me access to gangway.
TerReuv Posted May 22, 2022 #6 Share Posted May 22, 2022 My hubby lost his in Jamaica. When we got back to port, since we all had ours with us and he had his DL, the walked us back to the ship and the ship confirmed. Then on to Guest Services to get a replacement. Needless to say, he now wears his on a lanyard around his neck all the time. LOL
Rare Ferry_Watcher Posted May 22, 2022 #7 Share Posted May 22, 2022 A good story to remind all of us to always have your photo ID (at least a Driver's License) with you when visiting a port-of-call.
