Foody Posted June 1, 2022 #1 Share Posted June 1, 2022 (edited) We set sail on the 22nd July on the Anthem. Just been reading on RC website that we have to have a supervised Covid test within 2 days of boarding. Anyone in England booked this yet? Any recommendations/prices? We are in Manchester and I know a Randox shop has just opened in the Trafford Centre, looks like a PCR there is £65 per person and results in 12-14 hours. Thanks Edited June 1, 2022 by Foody Add location

Thanks We're on Harmony in 11 days and have booked an in store test with a local Lloyd's Pharmacy. We fly on the Saturday and board on Sunday so getting the test on Friday will cover both requirements. You only need the Antigen/rapid flow test, not full PCR and Lloyd's are doing these for £29. Edit to add - you leave the pharmacy with the test in your hand after about 20 mins so no waiting on emails, etc. Edited June 1, 2022 by abo
weejasser Posted June 1, 2022 #3 Share Posted June 1, 2022 I'm on Wonder now and used Dochq - it's a supervised video call and was very easy to do. They email you the certificate straight away and stay online to check you've got it and everything is OK with it. Cost us £19 per test. Royal accept it no probs

Thanks You don't need a PCR is a simple LFT test required. Lloyds do them at £30 but there are far cheaper options. Cheapest so far is Dochq with a discount which I can get four tests for £43, however you need to supply the test so add about £2 a test to that cost. Can you not just one from the testing boxes of 20 they handed out?
Phils01 Posted June 1, 2022 #6 Share Posted June 1, 2022 I’m on Brilliance of the Seas right now, boarded on Sunday and did a video LFT on Saturday with Medicspot (Royal recommended them) Got to the port they check our covid test certificate (which was on my phone as an email) and all they were interested in was the date the test had been done

I did ask why and its an NHS restriction not the companies.
