ArriveCAN app help traveling to Alaska 2 weeks

Hi, I am in process of creating account thru ArriveCAN app and I know people said easy but one question I am confused on

 

What do you put for reason for travel…..there are categories you choose from and these are two 

 

options category 

 

Discretionary/Optional Travel - but the explanation of this states….

Foreign Nationalists who intend to enter Canada for visits leisure, travel, weddings or tourism 

 

I’m not a foreign nationalist but I am entering for travel…

 

 

Or the other option category is:

 

Other

 

Has anyone recently fill out and what did you put?

Discretionary/optional travel is what you should choose.  You are a foreign national if you are from the states and are entering Canada. 🙂

It will also ask where you will quarantine, we put Quantum OTS on one part and our cabin number on another line.  I forget the exact order and question but you will see as you fill it out.

Another question for ArriveCan

 

Flying directly into Vancouver.(and out of Vancouver)..what port do I put in for arrival if they ask in app.  I thought I saw in another post about port information.

 

Anything else I should know?

Entry ports can be by land, air or sea. List the airport you are flying into as your entry port. I.E. YVR Vancouver
