latebuyer Posted June 6, 2022 #1 Share Posted June 6, 2022 Due to covid, i’d like to spend time outside on the ship. There is outside seating on the serenade for windjammer buffet. But i imagine it would be quite cold until the boat gets to san francisco. Is that correct? I’d be going end of september.
CruiserBruce Posted June 6, 2022 #2 Share Posted June 6, 2022 "Quite cold"? I don't know your definition of that phrase, but, unless you hit a heat wave (not impossible), it will probably struggle to get out of the 50s unitl around SF, then more 60s as you get further south. latebuyer Posted June 6, 2022 Author #3 Share Posted June 6, 2022 Thanks. That does seem quite cold. I guess i can layer with a fleece and windbreaker.
latebuyer Posted June 6, 2022 Author #4 Share Posted June 6, 2022 I’ve revised my statement. Its 11 Celsius right now (comparable to 50 degrees) so that isn’t that cold although i imagine when its windy it would be cold. So thanks for that i would have thought it would be colder. Maybe a cardigan and windbreaker? But probably colder at night.

latebuyer Posted June 10, 2022 Author #6 Share Posted June 10, 2022 My pacific coastal cruise goes to victoria, astoria, sanfrancisco and catalina island. So cold part is on the way to san francisco.

If you are the Serenade of the Seas, the Solarium is amazing and where I spend the majority of my down time.
