Seattle roundtrip excursion

Hello,

 

We're going on the Seattle roundtrip Alaska in July and wanted some recommendations on the excursion.  In particular, we wanted to watch the Salmon run and hopefully see some bears.  We booked in July hearing that's the best time to go to see the Salmon run but can't seem to find any in Princess and outside.  TIA.

We did a tour similar to this one http://www.cruiseportinsider.com/keex61.html It doesn't start operating until July 25th. Our cruise was in early September.  It was amazing. There were at least 14 bears fishing for salmon in the river, including a mother and two cubs. Well worth the money.
