"Courtesy Reservation" for UDP

Recommended Posts

I know that a reservation will be made for me on Night 1 or 2 of my sailing.  Is there a way to know where and when the reservation is before boarding?

I'm about 40 days out and I see a reservation for 6pm on Day 1 but there is no restaurant listed.  I didn't know if that was an actual reservation time or just an indication that I have the UDP and to remind me something will be scheduled.

Also, do I have to use that reservation or can I change it once on board?

I don't think the reservation that they make for you is actually assigned to a specific restaurant.  Honestly, I don't know why they even make you do that unless it's simply to have an idea of what time you will be dining.  Once you get on the ship you will need to go make the rest of your dinner reservations anyway, so you can choose which restaurant you want to eat in on the first night.
