edgee Posted July 9, 2022 #1 Share Posted July 9, 2022 (edited) We are embarking in 15 days on Eclipse cruise RT Vancouver. Curious where on ship masking will be required. Last I heard for Alaska cruises masks are required only in the casino and in the main theatre. Is that still the case? PRH Posted July 9, 2022 #3 Share Posted July 9, 2022 Denali park has reinstated masking so if you’re looking to visit, be aware.
Plaidlulu Posted July 10, 2022 #4 Share Posted July 10, 2022 Just disembarked from the Solstice yesterday and masks were optional everywhere on board and in the Alaskan ports we visited. Enjoy your cruise!

Things can and do change every day and on every ship depending upon the current Covid situation on that particular ship. 3% is the trigger for any X ship to implement more stringent requirements but they will start by making suggestions below that. Just go with the flow and enjoy the cruise.

zestyzorra Posted July 13, 2022 #9 Share Posted July 13, 2022 No enforcement anywhere on the Eclipse last week. Very few people wore them but my DH and I did.

aggiejd2000 Posted July 13, 2022 #11 Share Posted July 13, 2022 Was on Solstice in mid-June. They wanted people to wear masks in the theater but hardly anyone did, at least for the lectures we attended. We did not go to any shows so I don't know if people wore masks then. We generally went maskless around the ship but kept our social distance in most situations, and masked up around crowds.
