Name Change

Does anyone know what the cost is to make a name change if someone in your group is unable to go and when it has to be done by.

If all you want is a name change, that is one person being substituted for another, that person NOT being the FIRST person (the "owner" of the booking) then there is no charge and it has to be done more than 2 days before sailing.   Though the sooner the better.

Towards the bottom it states "Name changes and departure date changes are considered reservation cancellations and are subject to the above cancellation fees."

So going by the chart on that page, if you're greater than 120 days from embarkation there's no penalty.  As you get closer to sailing, the damage increases.

If booked from NCL Europe a name change can be done for a fee of €50 up until 7 days before the sailing date (for booked in other parts of the world, the terms and conditions for a name change may be different):

Quote: " If any individual Guest wishes to transfer their individual booking to another person (introduced by you), you may do so provided the person to whom you wish to transfer your individual booking satisfies all conditions which form part of your contract with us. Requests for transfers must be made in writing at least 7 days before departure and must be accompanied by the name and other required details of the person(s) to whom the booking will be transferred. The costs and charges incurred by us and/or incurred or imposed by any of our suppliers as a result together with an amendment fee of €50 per person transferring their place must be paid before the transfer can be made."
