Live from Queen Elizabeth en route to San Francisco

We are currently onboard, having joined on 11th July for the Alaska segment and staying on till Fort Lauderdale.

We are in a Britannia inside cabin on deck 8 forward. Perfect location for us, handy for the Commodore Club for pre dinner drinks, and the Lido, where we prefer to have breakfast and lunch. There have been canapés in the Commodore most nights, and a glass of fizz in the Britannia dining room twice so far on Gala nights, presumably instead of cocktail parties. The gala nights have been lovely, with many people dressing up! The Ice White night was especially impressive. 
Alaska was stunning, we saw whales, dolphins, lots of bald eagles and seals. We completely fell in love with Victoria and would love to return there one day.

Service on board is excellent, the staff are lovely. Food is also very good and my lactose intolerant husband is being looked after very well.
We bought the premium non alcoholic drinks package and are getting plenty of use from it, along with the odd cocktail and glass of wine. 
We’ve only been to one show so far as we needed some early nights but will probably go to more later in the cruise. 
There are plenty of activities, the husband is enjoying the watercolour classes and I’m working my way through the well-stocked library! 
As it’s Saturday it’s time I did my usual Parkrun, so I’m off to trot round Deck 3 shortly. I’ll log back in later and I’m happy to answer any questions.
