Alaska Shore Excursions

Booked on Oceania Regatta Glacial Pathways cruise from Aug 27-Sept 9/22.  Ports of call are Ketchikan,  Icy Strait Point, Juneau & Sitka. Any recommendations for tour companies providing shore excursions other than booking with Oceania?

Since we do not know anything about you or how old you are or how mobile you are or your budget or your interests etc. - any advice that we can give your would be worthless.  Come back with specific questions and tell us something about yourselves and the answers might be useful.

Hopefully you don't want bear watching, float plane, or some whale watch tours.  These book way in advance.  There really isn't a tour company that books all ports.  They are individual.  As mentioned, we could recommend tours you are not interested in.

I would definitely recommend Island Wings Air Service for an amazing trip n a float plane over Misty Fiords. We did a float plane on a previous trip but this was so much better. It was wonderful.

I also recommend the zip rider @ Icy Point Straits. This was our second time doing it.  This time we took our children & grandkids.  It is terrifying but really fun. We are 73. & 75.  & we survived the ride.

Alaska Shore Excursions Mendenhall canoe trip is worth checking out. It is quite a sensation to by canoeing on the water and getting close to the glacier.
