Much of the actual layout of the rest of the public areas doesn't look much changed but the décor is much better than of old.

The elevator has to be reserved at least what I was told now during the peak season… yes it was extremely HOT but well worth the climb up to take in the view

The cruise director is brand new… first week on the job Danny!  The “assistant” CD was the cruise director but is training the new CD and will be going on vacation in 2 weeks.

I love this. On my Odyssey OTS cruise back in May we didn't even get given the usual flyer introducing the officers. 😕

How does the food compare with Royal's. It looks pretty similar although with different menu items.

 

And slightly off topic, have you been on the Sun? I just found out it's sailing Canary Islands cruises from Lisbon over the winter. I am tempted but it seems to be a smaller, older ship... 🤔

It’s similar but I prefer Royal’s better.  Never been on the Sun was scheduled many times but they kept canceling because I wanted to go to Asia and they won’t do Asia in the near future.
