sometimes they will ask for a scanned copy of your current offer, especially if you're a new customer.  A copy of the invitation may work, but I'm not sure.

for years, I would never go pick up the certificate, and they would forward them on to NCL anyway.  I would then just call NCL and get the certificate details.  Seems like that has not been happening lately because I called a few weeks ago to check on what I had, and they told me I had no certificates.  It sounded strange to me because I felt like I had some previous invitations, but they could have either aged out, or they now are holding fast to the rule that you have to show up and claim the cert
