Ultra offer

I received this as well.  I was kind of excited about it but then I remembered that I currently have offers for a Get Away (green) and a Premiere (red), and neither of those are very enticing given that those look to be normal $$ cabin prices and only $100 in free play.

Congrats OP.  Hopefully we’ll both see something worthwhile come  August 18.

I just received an ultra offer in my email. I says they are available starting aug 18th. I play a few hundred on each cruise I’ve been on. Never received an ultra offer. What does ultra offers detail

I also received the email but have been booking elite's and premier instead, mostly because I have had friends tell me that with the ultra the casino is insanely packed and difficult to find a machine or table to gamble on.  But the offer is tempting

I also only usually play a few hundred or so each cruise. Usually play blackjack or craps a little bit each day, so I was surprised to see this offer. Wonder what prompted me/us to receive it.

I think they are trying to entice low level gamblers that are consistent about playing a little bit most cruise days.

I received one also. I usually get Ultra offers, but not for great prices or a huge amount of "fun play".  Sometimes I take the offer if it is a cruise I wanted to take anyway.  I know some folks have offers that allow them to book August 16th.  My offer doesn't start until August 18th.  I presume these are going to be fairly expensive cruises, since they doubled my normal free play offer.  🤣

The way I decide if it is a decent offer is if the "free play" + "guaranteed gift possibility" + value of "drinks on us" for me and my husband=  more than the cost of the cruise itself.

For a while the lowest gift you draw for had increased to $500.  I have heard it is now back down to $300.    If you have some idea of what you drink, you can do a rough calculation of how much having drinks in the casino saves you on your overall bar bill.  We utilize the DOU before or after dinner- or for bloody mary time on sea days.   So we probably save a couple of hundred per person utilizing that instead of just stopping at a different bar.

If the offer value and cost of the cruise are a wash- then the cruise costs me what I spend to gamble.  Sometimes they make money off of me, and sometimes they don't.   But I never take a cruise only for the ultra offer.  The casino is crowded and  you have to be creative to get drinks sometimes.  I am not a big fish gambler at all- so there has to be something additional to make me want to take an Ultra Cruise, like a new ship or destinations I really like.

This is my first Ultra offer. I used to play Blackjack or Fun 21. But when I switched to slots with my Platinum $25 of Freeplay, I started getting Casino offers.

I'm just curious about the dates and timing of the possible cruises. Hoping for some post tax season possibilities next spring at good prices. I have no idea what the offers will be or if they'll be reasonable. Hoping some more experienced than I can shed some light. My opening date is August 18th
