Tamarind, tell me about it.

Tamarind is our favourite restaurant.  We always dine there at least 2 nights on any HAL ship that has it.  The setting is lovely and the service is wonderful.  Everything we have eaten there has been delicious.  They are very careful about allergies and always ask if we have any dietary concerns.

Our next cruise is on a HAL ship that doesn't have a Tamarind and it makes us sad!

Nice thing about Tamarind is you can pay the standard price per person or go a la carte and order sushi and items from the Tamarind menu.  We ordered 3 sushi rolls—asparagus salmon, spicy tuna, and sushi sampler as well as had vegetable tempura, panko crusted asparagus, and Szechuan Shrimp which where huge and delicious!  We really wanted sushi but is not included in the tamarind price but we got the best of both worlds for a little less than the price even.  Just an option if you want both
