Rare Ferry_Watcher Posted August 13, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 13, 2022 While a new streamlined check-in procedure was rolled out at Seattle's Pier 91 this past Friday (8/12/22), passengers 12 and older are still required to be fully vaccinated, and to arrive at embarkation with proof of a negative Covid test result. Passengers still must show proof of vaccination. Any passenger 12 yrs or older arriving at the pier not fully vaccinated will be denied boarding. Children 2-11 yrs old who are not fully vaccinated will still need to have proof of a negative Covid test result, and will be also tested at the pier. Aquahound Posted August 13, 2022 #2 Share Posted August 13, 2022 So what exactly is more streamlined? I'm cruising in a few weeks out of Pier 91. I'm hoping it's better than my May check-in because that was a disaster.

Agents still must see the proof of vaccination and the negative covid test result, as well as ask only three health questions: Are you more than 23 weeks pregnant? Have you received a Covid-19 Booster? (yes or no, answer does not matter) Are you fully vaccinated for Covid-19? Agents do not have to 'capture photos of vax card, nor ask any of the old 10-12 health questions. Much easier for everyone.
