nursinadream Posted August 17, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 17, 2022 What happens to passengers (us) staying on voyage for another 11 days? Do we have to be off the ship? This happens in Trieste in mid September. Deb
Rare LHT28 Posted August 17, 2022 #2 Share Posted August 17, 2022 Not sure about Italy but in some ports you may have to get off while they zero the ship usually about 1 hr but other ports you can stay onboard They will send a notice to your cabin a few days ahead

arima22 Posted August 17, 2022 #4 Share Posted August 17, 2022 (edited) at Rome port a few years ago, we did not have to get off. And....Oceania did not offer excursions at that time, private tours were the only way to go. Now Oceania is offering excursions for Grand Voyage turnover days, we have one on November 1 at Athens.
