Sue sue sue Posted August 21, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 21, 2022 If we buy alcohol outside the ship, and we’re on a B2B, do we have it confiscated the whole cruise, or just the first part?
mz-s Posted August 21, 2022 #2 Share Posted August 21, 2022 They are supposed to hold it until you leave the ship on your final cruise. But whether or not they do depends on how well they keep track.
firefly333 Posted August 21, 2022 #3 Share Posted August 21, 2022 You can buy some in a store the last day and take it back to your cabin for the next leg .. easier and then you are sure.

mondello Posted August 21, 2022 #5 Share Posted August 21, 2022 In theory, you’d think they’d know because the cruises are linked in the system as B2B. We didn’t try on our recent Valor B2B. Brought 4 bottles of wine for the 10 days/B2B. They didn’t even look in my backpack nor hold 2 bottles for the second leg. Bought 2 more bottles in between cruises on a resupply run. DallasGuy75219 Posted August 22, 2022 #6 Share Posted August 22, 2022 This is an "it depends" question. As in it depends whether a particular ship decides to follow policy on a particular day or cruise. It depends on whether they are collecting outside alcohol when you return on from port on any given day. If they are, it depends on whether the security guard who sees you're bringing back liquor makes sure you actually check it in. If your liquor was checked in, it depends on whether the ship staff check to see if you're on a B2B before delivering it to your cabin on the last night. When you buy alcohol from the Fun Shops on the last night, they usually let you bring it back to your cabin. If they do, it depends on whether the Fun Shops staff look or even care whether you're on a B2B. So you can get away with it if the cards fall right, but know it's not guaranteed and you may wind up get your liquor back on the last night of the last cruise.
