Can 1 person in the cabin buy a drink package and the other NOT?

What’s unfortunate is if the second passenger won’t use the refreshment package.  My DH can’t drink alcohol for medical reasons. He has given up soda.  Only drinks regular decaf coffee (no specialty coffees) and is happy with tap water.  So if I want the drink package, we’d have to pay $30 per day for him, which he’ll never use at all.  So I’m better off buying by the drink, which I guess is ok.

I just bought the 24 water bottles in my name and the soda package in my wife's name. No alcohol package, as we're Diamond and in a suite.

 

I hope that's going to work out.

If your next cruise is on Allure in a Grand Suite or above, I would reconsider buying the case of water and the soda package. You can get bottled water, soda, beer and wine from the suite lounge from 11am to 11pm (or 1130am to 11pm). With water just ask for extra bottles to take back to room. With soda it is a little harder as you have to goto suite lounge to get it. But the soda package let's you get it at any bar and the freestyle machines.

Whatever package you get online - you have to get for both ppl in the stateroom.

I called and it was no problem getting a DBP for me and a Refreshment for my wife.
