CTNYER Posted September 1, 2022 #1 Share Posted September 1, 2022 We just returned from Beyond Med Rome to Barcelona cruise. We had an aqua class room with an infinite balcony. We absolutely hated the infinite “balcony” (wasn’t a balcony at all, just an extension of the room with a window you can open, essentially). Anyway, we loved the Beyond, but don’t want another infinite veranda. What class needs to be booked to have the traditional veranda cabin with sliding doors? Seems all the verandas only offer infinite. thanks!
Barwick Cruiser Posted September 1, 2022 #2 Share Posted September 1, 2022 You’ll need to either book a suite or a sunset veranda to get the traditional balcony. Glad you enjoyed the cruise otherwise!

Maybe my computer skills are lacking and it’s time to call a TA. 🤭

Surprised if no suites are showing unless the cruise is fairly soon.

We’re eyeing the Beyond out of Fort Lauderdale March 11, 2024 (Caribbean and Panama).

It indeed looks like all suites are currently booked as it says “no longer available “, translated means currently sold out. If you check frequently, you might see a few come back into availability. To find Sunset Verandas, you have to select verandas and they are a subset, along with the IV’s, guarantees, etc. When it doesn’t show as an option, it means they are sold out. Your thought to contact a TA is a good one as they have the ability to find cabins coming available. Good luck!

Rare hcat Posted September 2, 2022 #9 Share Posted September 2, 2022 The SV, esp middles, are worth waiting for.. staterooms are larger than the IVs and have an oversized outdoor aft balcony. March is not that far out,,popular new ship and itun! Maybe a TA can help if they have SV or suites on hold in their inventory???
