Excellent Wildlife tour in Sitka

We went on a cruise in early August and booked a whale watching and wildlife tour with Gallant Adventures in Sitka.  Captain Paul Davis was a great tour guide and found many whales, sea otters, and birds, including puffins and eagles. He has a relatively new boat that only holds six people, so we had great conversations about the history and attractions around Sitka. We saw many whales and I got some great photos. He took us to a remote wildlife refuge island, Saint Lazaria Island, and saw many unique birds, starfish, sea anemones and beautiful tropical landscapes. His cost is much less than ship excursions, and even less if you charter the boat with six people. It was the best excursion I can ever remember. Highly recommend.
