Celebrity Edge Passenger Count for 9/3

Would very much appreciate if currently on board Edge, ask about passenger count for 9/3/22 cruise and report.  Also if B2B testing is occurring.  Many thanks!

All the testing rules change on 9/5.  As for passengers count, Celebrity has sailed as high as 97% capacity.  They are not holding back cabins.  On Summit recently passengers were quarantined in their own cabinsB2B passenger testing varies by cruise duration and countries visited after 9/5

Was looking for info specifically for Edge.  Have sailed in past year on Apex at 12 % capacity, Edge 50%, Caribbean Princess 90%.  Guess we'll know in a few hours when we board.  And well aware of new testing and specific country requirements eff 9/5.  Tks for response!

Wow!!  So a question just to clarify your response.  Were there 1300 guests and 900 crew for a total of only 2200 persons on board?  Thanks.

Sorry, 1300 guests on our cruise this past week, 2200 guests on today’s.

On board as well…they are saying 2200 passengers…I was quite surprised after stalking the available staterooms..there seems like there were so many empty…

 

Still looking foreword to a great cruise ..seems we are around 75%

 

…Lewis is back as CD as of today…we had him in March on the Edge as well and thought he was great.

2200 according to casino host. Not sure how they'd cope with full capacity considering they seems quite understaffed. Apparently "a lot" (whatever that means) of crew is quarantined due to "Covid precaution".

I picked the wrong date then. 1300 is lovely on EDGE, had that number in January. Not that 2200 isn't too terrible as it's still far from the ships total capacity.

 

Makes me wonder if they don't market these cruises aggressively enough. I checked pricing last week and it was still pretty expensive.
