Hotels in Tampa?

This will be our first cruise leaving from Tampa. We are going down a few days early to take in some Spring Training baseball games. We are looking for a nice hotel in Tampa that has washer and dryers that guests can use. I don't want to take dirty clothes on my cruise. Any help will be much appreciated.

Have no idea about laundry facilities but we love the Marriott Waterside.

Marriott Water St has laundry listed as amenities 😉

Having lived just blocks from that hotel for a couple years.....it's not a hotel or location I would recommend.

Thank you. What are your thoughts on staying in Westshore or Rocky point?

They are good areas with lots restaurants close by but if cruising I prefer more the Riverwalk/Channelside area which is right by the cruise port. Say like the hotels around the Tampa Marriott Water St location...there is so much around that area to do in walking distance....and you have the free Teco Street Car to get around also. You have all the downtown Tampa attractions as well as a quick trolley ride to Ybor if you like....and you are right there for your cruise.
