Android Version Of Apple AirTags

I have a Samsung android phone but like the idea of the Apple Air Tags.

Has anyone used the equivalent to Air Tags on an android phone?

 

How are they for flying?

Do you know where your luggage is?

Can you use them on checked luggage?

 

On our last 2 cruises they did not deliver our luggage to our suite in a timely manner, even though we were in a top suite.  The Butler had to go looking for it.  Would the air tags pinpoint our luggage on the ship?

 

We board our next cruise on NYE and hoping to avoid any issues with luggage delivery.
